You recently attended the 2006 NRPA National Congress and Exposition in While in attendance you may have had the opportunity to visit the National Partnerships booth, speak with someone from our department or attend one of our sessions and are now asking, “How can I get involved?” Well now is your chance to become part of our Network! By becoming part of the NRPA National Partnerships Community Sports & Health Network you will gain access to grants and resources available from our national partners including the USTA, NFL, the PGA and many others. You will also have the opportunity to share and gain valuable practical knowledge for the park and recreation community. An added benefit to joining the network is a free subscription to the Community Sports & Health Network E-Newsletters. The Sport and Health E-Newsletters provide a wealth of information such as funding and grant opportunities. They also highlight profiles of local communities and their efforts to improve sports and health in their areas, as well as research and how it translates into practical applications. You will soon find that the Community Sports & Health E-Newsletters are the pulse of the park and recreation community! Are you ready to become part of the Network?
