NRPA Take Me FishingT 2011 Grant Application We are pleased to announce that NRPA was recently selected by The Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation (RBFF), to sustain the Take Me Fishing program for the 2011 program year.  This program enables park and recreation agencies to receive grant funding, training, education and marketing materials to engage and introduce fishing and boating to youth and families in local communities. The 2011 NRPA Take Me Fishing program works with communities across the country who can support the global initiative set forth by RBFF to engage at least 140,000 youth and families in boating, fishing, aquatic education and environmental conservation. Communities selected to participate in the program will receive grant funding, training, education, tools and resources and will be required to adhere to all grant guidelines. Applications for the 2011 grant will be reviewed and selected by NRPA.
